Good news if you've been struggling to read menus and on-screen text in God of War, as the latest patch lets you increase text size across the board. Update 1.12 is available to download now, weighing in at just a few hundred MB. The patch notes also mention minor bug fixes.
If you want to change the text size, all you have to do is head into the options menu and take a look at the accessibility options. Right at the bottom, you should find a new slider that lets you adjust text size. Easy peasy.
The text can be a bit small but on my 55" TV and at the distance I sit, its still legible for me. The menu's can be a bit overwhelming - especially if you are not used to playing RPG's and surprised me just how much depth this added to the game. Fortunately, I play a lot of RPGs so its fine for me but I was still surprised by the menu this game had.
Noticed this earlier and was struggling a bit in reading some of the text in the upgrade menus. I whacked the text size up to max and although it is not a huge difference it is a bit easier to read now.
This is good news to me because it's the only issue I have with this game.My eyesight isant that great as it is but having to sit so close to my TV and squint just to read text is just annoying.Excellent that they got the patch out this quick!

As someone with terrible eyesight, I've noticed that I have lots of problems reading the text, which is a shame because there's so much of it! I'm sure there are others with the same problem and I would just love an option for a larger font for people with similar eyesight problems.
I found the solution! My OS is 8.1 Pro and I had the same tiny text in chat, game etc problem in Soulstorm and couldn't solve issue by even decreasing the resolution. The solution is very simple. You only need to change few .ini files within "Dawn of War Soulstorm\Engine\Locale\English\data" folder by opening with notepad. You gotta change the font lines numbers to a larger numbers as 30 or 40. Here is the ready edited files you need to simply place into your game folder and click replace and you'll be all set with nice big fonts:Drive.google.comNOTE: this only works in English version of the game,(don't forget to backup files that are going to be replaced, just in case)
The download works, but the font size is to large now. So I changed all font sizes in the .fnt files (those are text config files) to 25, and I also replaced all those fonts with verdana by copying / renaming for the 3 font files. I did this because the fonts in the pack don't provide special characters in my language. Still there are some special characters missing in the main menu and map, seems another font config is missing. Still I got the special chars in 90% of all texts and they are perfectly readable in 1920x1080.
Though I do take fault in moving my television too close, I wanted to illustrate exactly how much of an issue the small font size is. After scouring online forums such as Reddit and the actual Sims website, I've learned that there are many users reporting the exact same inaccessibility issue for both console and PC versions of the game. My screen is a 52" LCD television, and I have also tried the game on a 60" to no avail.
As a disabled person on an extremely limited budget, I cannot afford to put this game back on the shelf to collect dust. I saved for months to be able to purchase this game, which makes my experience all the more disheartening. Please, please fix this issue. I am a long-time fan of this title, I have many fond childhood memories of playing earlier installments. I would really like to play this game freely without worrying about adverse health issues that may arise from trying to compensate for the small font size.
uiscale = 100 (This is what it will be when you open the Options.ini) this value(100), you change in small steps until it is readable/usable. smaller values make the ui bigger(like 90,80,...50,etc) and bigger values make it smaller(110,120,etc). this parameter changes the complete ui, so not only the colour stripes will get bigger/smaller, the texts and symbols change too. as reference: i play sims 4 in 3840x2160 pixels resolution, in that resolution sims 4 with uiscale = 100 is even on a 42" tv hard to read, the colour stripes even harder. if i change the uiscale parameter to 50, the ui is double the size as it would be with 100, and i can read texts, and use the colour stripes effectively.
Mar 11, 2015 - it's small, but readable - but if you are too faraway, then it will be too small. Of Paradise Europa Universalis IV: Art of War Europa Universalis IV: El. On 1366x768 - the game is unplayable because of the microscopic text. Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War is a real-time strategy computer game developed by Relic Entertainment based on Games Workshop's popular tabletop wargame, Warhammer 40,000. It was released in September 2004 in North America.
When it does work, however, FSR could well smooth out a struggling frame rate, or further improve performance on games that have a bit more headroom. With Skyrim set to 800x500, outdoor performance rose to the 40-50fps range, a visible step up on smoothness. And although text looked less sharp, most of the game still looked close enough to native resolution.
There were also problems with inheritance. Often young children inherited allotments that they could not farm because they had been sent away to boarding schools. Multiple heirs also caused a problem; when several people inherited an allotment, the size of the holdings became too small for effective farming. Tribes were also often underpaid for the land allotments, and when individuals did not accept the government requirements, their allotments were sold to non-Native individuals, causing American Indian communities to lose vast acreage of their tribal lands.
An orbital bombardment from Imperial warships is the simplest means of carrying out an Exterminatus, as it can be done solely through the conventional firepower already available to the Imperial Navy. The power of an orbital bombardment can range from small precision strikes, not unlike that of modern surface-to-surface missiles, to the unleashing of full thermonuclear blasts.
Traffic circles or roundabouts are sometimes built at intersections of heavily traveled streets and roads. All vehicles approaching traffic circles or roundabouts must yield the right- of-way to vehicles already in the circle or roundabout unless otherwise directed by a police officer or by traffic control devices. Traffic on a roundabout proceeds to the right around the raised center island. Raised pavement on the inside of the circle enables trucks to negotiate around the small island, while vehicles stay in the outer travel lane. At large traffic circles, called rotaries, vehicles also proceed to the right or counterclockwise around the center island at a slow rate of speed until the street desired is approached. Drivers must yield the right-of- way to a vehicle on the operator's left. Exit from the circle or roundabout is then made by making a right turn. Extreme caution should be used when entering and leaving traffic circles or roundabouts and strict attention to highway signs and pavement markings is necessary. If you are going to be turning from a rotary circle within two exits, it is suggested that you should be in the right lane (This applies unless otherwise indicated by road markings on pavement or traffic signs specifying the lane to be used.
Your selection of gears depends on the power and speed you need for various driving tasks. First gear gives the power needed to set a car in motion. Second gear lets you go 15 to 25 mph, depending on the horsepower of the engine and on whether the transmission is 3,4, or 5-speed. You can also use second gear to start on ice or drive in heavy snow. Third gear, in cars with 3-speed transmissions, is generally used for all speeds over 25 mph. If a car has a 4- or 5-speed transmission and a small engine, third is used at speeds up to 30 or 40 mph. Use fourth gear for driving above 35 mph on a flat roadway. When driving uphill, you may have to achieve 40 mph or more before shifting to fourth or fifth gear.
We live in a 24-hour-a-day, information-driven society in which instant communications are an accepted part of life. Data shows that 91% of Americans have a cell phone, and text messaging has increased over 2,200% in the last five years! Instant communications can make businesses more efficient, increase productivity and bring other benefits to society, including rapid response to emergencies. However, the use of communication devices in moving vehicles can distract the driver's attention from the primary task of driving and lead to crashes as critical and as devastating as those caused by impaired driving or other dangerous driving behavior. Distracted driving may now be the single largest contributing factor to traffic crashes. According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, distracted driving resulted in nearly 6,000 deaths and more than a half million injuries in 2008. An in-cab driving study of commercial truck drivers by the Virginia Tech Transportation Institute indicated that by far the most dangerous distraction observed was texting. The study revealed that truck drivers who texted while driving had 23 times the risk of being involved in a crash or a near-crash incident. Laws that prohibit cell phone use and texting have an impact on safety, but stopping the senseless crashes and deaths that distractions can cause is best accomplished by changing driver behavior. To manage or eliminate distractions, it's important to understand the three distinct types: 2b1af7f3a8
