The evaluation is based on the integrated process qualification standards (ISO 21747). The evaluation of the combination of the process model, the control system and the measurement system is based on standardised evaluation procedures. This ensures reproducibility of the results. A measurable qualification time is reduced by the automation of the process qualification procedure.

The qualification of the measurement system is based on the industry standard for measurements (ISO 50100-1). A special interface between the control and the measurement system is not required as the control system is standardised. The measurement system interfaces with the final control system (SIEMENS SIMATIC Web Server) using the standardised interfaces of the control system.

For evaluation of machine qualification, a special evaluation for machine qualification is necessary. This evaluation has been made by an independent company. The evaluation was based on time and accuracy. All results comply with the standards of ISO 21747 and the customer can trust their qualification.

Statistical procedures are available to evaluate the required data. For example, we provide a statistical procedure for calculating mean times for a process to reach a certain state, in conjunction with our process models and statistical software. This procedure is based on ISO 21747:2017.

For the event time models (and especially the mean time model), our qualified event time model identification procedure is based on ISO 21747:2017. Furthermore, the statistical software RapidPlan supports the identification of the event time model and the calculation of the mean time.

FSAs integrates and supports the application of ISO 21747/ISO 21748. It supports both versions, 2.0 and 2.1. FSA offers a qualification tool for the efficient and safe qualification of process models. The qualification tool can be used to test models for their suitability for production, process monitoring or online analysis. FSA offers the qualification tool as a standalone application or as part of a qualification toolchain. FSA is available in the FSA tools directory.
