3. Now students are growing in confidence, I invite them to do more rehearsing outside class in preparation to tell the same story without written prompts to the whole class. I remind them to rehearse telling the unscripted story freely and creatively, so the words are not recited but come out naturally and spontaneously. When students are in the process of rehearsing, they are encouraged to send me an audio recording, so I can give them feedback and encouragement.
